We have been asked several times, WHO ARE YOU? That question can be somewhat confusing since it should be obvious who we are - children of the most High God. However, we have come to understand that the question is not about our nature; rather it is about the nature of what we do. For us, the starting point is that we are called to be children - to be loved and taught by the Father.
We are therefore a group of people who live alongside each other with one shared goal: to worship God with, and in, every part of our lives. So far, this has mainly involved coming together to sing and dance in praise and worship; what we call “Worship Experiences”. We also study the Bible together, have “swallow-ship,” support each other’s work and extend the bond between us to our families, friends and colleagues. In all these activities, our desire is to dwell in the presence of God - whether it’s a praise and worship session, a retreat, a birthday celebration, a home visit, a prayer night, a sleepover or a Bible study.
We also recognise that what God is doing is not just about us, and so as we enjoy the blessing of being a family, we are always looking outward, seeking God’s guidance as to where He wants to use us to touch, meet and bless others.
So, WHO ARE WE? We are a family of worshippers; a small part of the BIG Family, God’s family, in God’s Kingdom.
