Francis Peter Angalla is passionate about channelling his God-given musical gifts into Christ-centred worship and this desire was the catalyst for establishing STUDIO_10 in 2008, a ministry he loves and still leads. Francis’ journey in music began in 2000, when he began to learn to play acoustic guitar and from there, quickly branched out into playing keyboard, saxophone, bass guitar and various other woodwind and string instruments. In 2006, he joined the Africa Institute of Music for 2 years, during which time he had the chance to visit South Korea as member of a pioneer team using both African and Western instruments in worship, as part of the Christian Contemporary Music (CCM) program.

From 2007 – 2016, Francis’ career was focused on teaching music to pupils in Heritage International School, Kansanga, and in 2014, he returned to Africa Institute of Music for further studies.  Francis became Worship Leader at One Life International Church in 2015.

In 2010 he started volunteering at Refuge and Hope International, a ministry for refugees in Kampala, where he met his wife Missy. He began by leading weekly community worship sessions for Refuge and Hope youth, culminating in an inaugural Music Camp in 2015. From here, he and a small team began to teach music to interested students - and thus, the ministry Restoring Voices was born. In 2016 a second Music Camp saw over 40 students participating in sessions focused on teaching choir, dance, fine art and various instruments. Francis, in his new role as Restoring Voices Director, is currently focusing on developing the program to be a full-time ministry. He is expectant to see how God will develop Restoring Voices to be an international ministry that seeks to empower refugees to cultivate their musical and artistic talents and enable them to find healing, hope and spiritual transformation.

We worship God in humble submission as His children, knowing that Our Creator hears, desires and accepts our worship, gratefully acknowledging that as we spend time in His presence, we are convicted, refreshed, encouraged or directed, according to the will of our Father in Heaven.

Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God - this is your spiritual act of worship.
